本利用規約（以下「本規約」）は、個人開発者 Rinblog（以下「開発者」）が提供する iOS アプリケーション「人生記録&日記」（アプリの中の名称は「人生の記録」。英語名 Life & Diary、My Life Timeline。以下「本アプリ」）の利用条件を定めるものです。本アプリをダウンロード・利用した時点で、本規約に同意したものとみなします。

1. 本アプリの内容

本アプリは、自分の人生の出来事・期間・日記を記録し、重ねて年表として見られるようにするアプリです。記録はユーザーの端末内に保存され、開発者はこれを預かりません。

記録はユーザーの端末内に保存されます。端末の紛失・故障・初期化、アプリの削除によって記録が失われた場合、開発者はこれを復元できません。本アプリのバックアップ機能（プラスでご利用いただけます）を使い、ユーザーご自身で控えを保つことを強くおすすめします。

iCloud への控えは、自動では作られません。設定の画面で「今すぐ控えを作る」を押したときだけ、記録（本文に添付した画像を含みます）がユーザー自身の iCloud に保存されます。控えから戻すときは、同じ画面の「控えから戻す」を使います（戻すことはプランを問わずいつでもできます）。

ユーザーは、本アプリの利用にあたり、次の行為を行ってはなりません。

本アプリおよび本アプリが生成する画面の意匠・文言・図版に関する権利は開発者に帰属します。ユーザーが記録した内容（文章・添付した画像など）の権利はユーザーに帰属します。ユーザーが本アプリで作った共有の画像を、SNS・ブログなどで自由に共有することを妨げません。

開発者は、本アプリの内容を変更し、または提供を終了することがあります。提供を終了する場合、可能な限り事前にアプリ内またはサポートページでお知らせします。終了後も、ユーザーの端末内の記録と、ユーザー自身の iCloud に作った控えは残ります。

8. 本規約の変更

開発者は本規約を変更することがあります。変更後の内容は本ページに掲示し、掲示の時点から効力を生じます。重要な変更の場合はアプリ内でもお知らせします。

9. 準拠法と管轄

本規約は日本法に準拠します。本アプリに関して紛争が生じた場合、開発者の住所地を管轄する日本の裁判所を第一審の専属的合意管轄裁判所とします。

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your use of the iOS application "Life & Diary" (shown inside the App as "My Life Timeline"; the "App"), provided by the individual developer Rinblog (the "Developer"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. What the App is

The App lets you record the events, periods and diary entries of your life, and see them layered together as a timeline. Your records are stored on your device; the Developer does not hold them.

2. Pricing and subscriptions

The App is free to use. Creating, editing and deleting records and diary entries has no limit on the number of entries, and keyword search, creating and editing categories, two of the visual themes (Standard and Plain), two of the share-image designs (in white only), and restoring from an iCloud backup are all free.
On the Free tier, these differ from the paid "Plus" plan: you cannot create a new iCloud backup (restoring one is still free). Only 2 of the 9 visual themes and 2 of the 14 share-image designs (white color only) are available. Ads are shown on parts of the screen.
Subscribing to "Plus" lets you create iCloud backups, unlocks all 9 themes and all 14 share-image designs (3 colors each), and removes ads.
On the Free tier, watching a video ad to the end unlocks one theme or one share design of your choice for 24 hours (once per day). This is not a purchase and it reverts when the 24 hours are up. Declining to watch restricts nothing in the free features.
Cancelling never deletes a single record. Everything you wrote (records, diary entries, categories) stays on your device and remains readable at any time. Cancelling only removes the Plus features listed above.
Plus is offered as an annual plan (¥3,000, with a 7-day free trial) and a monthly plan (¥500). Prices shown in the App Store take precedence. No lifetime (one-time payment) option is offered.
Unless cancelled before the annual plan's free trial ends, the paid period begins automatically.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancel in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions on your iPhone.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID payment method at confirmation of purchase.

3. Storage and backup

Records are stored on your device. If your device is lost, damaged, reset, or the App is deleted, the Developer cannot restore your records. We strongly recommend keeping your own backup using the App's backup feature (available with Plus).

iCloud backups are never created automatically. Only when you tap "Back up now" in Settings are your records (including any images attached to entries) saved to your own iCloud. To bring them back, use "Restore from backup" on the same screen (restoring is free on any plan).

4. Prohibited conduct

Anything unlawful or contrary to public order and morals
Disassembling, decompiling or modifying the App, except as permitted by law
Interfering with the operation of the App
Handling images or information that infringe the rights of others

5. Intellectual property

Rights in the App and in the design, wording and artwork of its screens belong to the Developer. Rights in what you record (text, attached images and so on) remain yours. You are free to share the images the App makes for you on social media, blogs, and elsewhere.

6. Disclaimer

The App is provided as is. The Developer does not warrant that it will run without interruption or error.
The Developer is not liable for damages arising from your use of the App, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the preceding 12 months.

7. Changes to, or discontinuation of, the App

The Developer may change the App or stop offering it, giving advance notice in the App or on the support pages where possible. Records on your device, and any backups you have made in your own iCloud, remain yours afterwards.

8. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may change. The revised text is posted on this page and takes effect on posting. Significant changes are also announced in the App.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The court with jurisdiction over the Developer's address shall have exclusive jurisdiction of first instance.
